For feeder fishing, braided line is popular due to its direct bite detection, although nylon offers extra cushioning for bigger fish. Pay attention to tensile strength, diameter, and length: a line with at least 4 kg tensile strength is recommended. Fill the spool to the edge for optimal casting performance – optionally use some cheap nylon as backing first.
