BKK rigs and hooklengths cover two different applications here: treble-hook stingers for predators and ready-tied, single-hook feeder rigs. Start with your bait and fishing method before looking at hook size.
Spear stingers or BB Trigger-21?
The Spear SS Stinger Rig and Spear Black Nickel Stinger Rig use supple 49-strand AFW wire for rigging softbaits or deadbaits. Match the length to the intended treble position without bending the bait. The BB Trigger-21 Stinger Rig Uvo is a different system for large softbaits, with two Spear 21-UVO trebles and a 2.5 g weight. Include that extra weight when considering sink rate and total casting weight.
Feeder rigs serve a different purpose
The Tournament FT-1 and FTB-1 are hooklengths for presenting hookbait when feeder fishing, with Bayonet, Push-lock and Bait Band options. They do not replace a wire predator stinger. Within this group, compare barbed or barbless hooks, bait attachment and line diameter. This helps you choose the right construction rather than simply matching a hook number.
