BKK Stingers

BKK stingers are ready-made hook rigs for improving hook-up rates with larger soft plastics. They are particularly useful for pike and zander when fish strike short or take the rear section of a shad.

When should you use a stinger?

• Large shads: position the treble hook farther back on the lure.
• Pike fishing: create a strong, bite-resistant connection.

Choose the correct BKK stinger

Match the rig length to the soft plastic and place the hook without restricting tail movement. Check the wire, crimps and hook points before every session. Use suitable steel leaders when pike are present.
