With BKK method feeder hooklengths, the key differences come down to two choices: hook pattern and bait attachment. The FT-1 and FTB-1 are offered here as ready-tied hooklengths, saving you from tying the hook yourself.
Barbed FT-1 or barbless FTB-1?
The FT-1 is barbed; the FTB-1 is barbless. Check your venue rules first. Both ranges feature BKK's smooth SS finish: here SS means Super Slide, rather than stainless steel. A coating does not remove the need to check the point after contact with stones.
Bayonet, Push-lock or Bait Band
A Bait Band holds suitably sized bait in an elastic loop. A Bayonet pushes into bait firm enough to hold it. A Push-lock secures bait on the hair. Match the attachment to your bait's texture and size; a brittle pellet needs a different approach from firm hookbait. Then match hook size and line diameter to the presentation. The Tournament packs offered here contain eight hooklengths.
