Tapered Braided Shockleaders 40lb-18lb

The Spomb Tapered Braided Shockleaders 40lb-18lb are specially developed for anglers who want maximum casting distances when spodding, spombing or distance fishing. Their unique taper gradually decreases from 40lb to 18lb, creating an extremely smooth transition between shockleader and main line.

The thin end allows compact joining knots that glide effortlessly through the guides. This reduces resistance during the cast, resulting in greater casting distances and less risk of line breakage. The thick section absorbs the forces of powerful casts and provides extra safety when using heavy spods and Spombs.

At 10m long, the leader can easily be shortened at the thicker section if desired, to suit your fishing perfectly.
