Yasei dropshot & light jig 210ML Spinning Rod

The Yasei Dropshot & Light Jig series are designed with two specific techniques in mind: dropshotting and light jigging. Dropshotting requires a soft tip so you can present the lure playfully with the dropshot weight on the bottom. Since the lure practically weighs nothing, it is very easy for the fish to take it completely. Therefore, this technique can be very effective during periods when there is little feeding. Because the tip is so soft, this rod is also very suitable as a second rod in combination with some smaller dead bait on a dropshot rig. When the fish bites, this will be immediately registered on the tip, but because the tip is so flexible, the fish will feel no resistance and will not spit out the bait. Enough time to set the hook, then! It is also the perfect rod for fishing with light jigs. Thanks to the soft tip, only this part will bend lightly while jigging. Ideal for more playful lures. Within the Yasei series, there are two different Dropshot and Light Jig rods: a 210ML and a 240M version. The 210 ML version is designed for fishing with light dropshot rigs and light jigs from both a boat and the shore. The 240M version is a bit longer and stronger, allowing you to cast further and fish heavier if desired. Perfect for fishing from the shore and on rivers.
