TRANX 301 A (LH) Baitcasting Reel

The completely new Tranx is designed as a 'workhorse for big fish.' It is a heavy duty low profile baitcasting reel and certainly unique in the Shimano EU series. It is an incredibly strong, durable, and reliable reel and very suitable for both freshwater and saltwater purposes. Such reels are often used for fishing with larger and heavier lures for bigger fish. The Tranx is perfectly made for this task, and that is also the reason why this is not a very light reel (330 g).The reel can of course be used for fishing pike in freshwater with heavier lures such as jerkbaits, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits up to more than 100 g. For saltwater fishing, the Tranx is used similarly, but it will find its purpose more in jigging or live baiting for large and fighting sea fish.
