The Purist PX1 is the ultimate rod for fishing with deadbait. These rods are available in two practical models, in lengths of 10 and 12ft. Both rods have a great deep bend, providing precision and casting power, and the whole is accentuated by a fantastic classic look, finished with a cork handle.

The heart of the Purist PX1 Deadbait rod is a full carbon blank with high modulus, developed to generate the power needed to defeat hard-fighting fish. At the same time, the rod, thanks to its progressive action, dampens sudden runs and aggressive 'head shakes,' thereby minimizing the chance of pulling the hook out of the fish's mouth.

Such a construction, moreover reinforced with two-meter strong Shimano Hardlite guides, offers excellent casting properties with a dead fish or classic groundbait. Both models are equipped with a classic cork handle and a specially designed, ergonomic DPS-type reel handle. At the same time, the two-piece construction makes transporting and storing the rods extremely easy.
