Sandeel Deadbait

Prebaits Sandeel is an elongated, slender baitfish for perch, zander and pike fishing. Its texture is firmer than that of ordinary smelt. Sandeel therefore offers an alternative when you want to use a slender baitfish on a dropshot rig, a fireball or under a float.

You buy this bait by the individual vacuum pack. The fish are sorted by length, so you know which size you are choosing in advance. As this is a natural product, the dimensions and number of fish may vary within the stated ranges. Keep the bait frozen and put any delivery straight into the freezer on arrival. According to the supplier, it keeps for up to 18 months when unopened and frozen.
