Floating Artificial Maggots

The Nash Floating Maggots are buoyant plastic maggots that can be used as durable hookbaits, on their own or combined with real maggots. They resist small fish nibbling at the bait and help offset the weight of the hook or a maggot clip for a slow-sinking presentation.

You can use them for a Mag Aligner rig, slide them over the hook shank when zig fishing, or place them in a hair loop as a bait stop. When making a bunch of real maggots on fine line or bait floss, thread a plastic maggot on first and last. This lets the knot tighten against the plastic, reducing damage to the real maggots. The imitation maggots can also be soaked or dipped in a liquid.
