Stow Indicator

After Korda purchased the rights from Carl Pashley, the inventor of the Stow Bobbins, the development team of Korda got to work on further developing this revolutionary bobbin. During the development phase, many things were refined, adjusted, and better shaped; the final result is the Stow Bobbin.


With most indicators available on the market, the main line slides through the indicator. However, with the Stow Bobbin, the line is clamped, which allows even the most cautious bite to be registered without any problems. To ensure that the Stow principle works correctly, it is important to use the system with a short chain. This way, during a hard run, the Stow Bobbin will automatically fall off the line. With the Stow Bobbin, you will never be hindered again by an indicator that annoyingly gets caught on the line when picking up the rod.
The Stow Bobbins are available in 6 different colors. The stow system is available as a complete package, but all individual parts are also available. This makes it possible to customize the bobbins according to personal preference.

The Stow Stix are magnetic; these are the small chain adapters that connect the waker to the foot (Hockeystick) under the bite indicator. Because they are connected to the hockeystick by a magnet, storing and/or swapping Stow Bobbins/components is very easy to accomplish. Since the system comes with two different lengths of Stow Sticks, the Stow Bobbins can be used with all types of bite indicator systems without losing the Stow principle.

To safely transport the Stow Bobbins, we have made the Stow Away Cases from hard plastic. Additionally, this storage system is equipped with a magnetic bottom and closure. This makes it possible to store the Stow Bobbins in such a way that the chain cannot get tangled. Not only are the Stow Bobbins the coolest and most sensitive bite alarm system on the market, they are also the only bite alarm that falls off the line during a hard run. As a result, you will never be hindered again by a bite alarm that annoyingly stays on the line when picking up the rod.
