Through the application of this concept to the Ninja series, DAIWA succeeded in significantly reducing the weight of the reel.
The new Tough Digigear transmission, which was previously only used on much more expensive Daiwa reels, provides better power transfer and smoother operation in the Ninja LT series than its predecessor.

The new ATD slip system delivers higher braking power (up to 12 kg) for the Ninja LT and provides an immediate release of the set braking force without initial resistance – ideal for use with thin lines.
