Bloodworm is the bright red aquatic larva of a small mosquito found around rivers and lakes, and whose blood contains hemoglobin, allowing it to live in poorly oxygenated water where silt has accumulated.

Bloodworm turns out to be an irresistible, naturally occurring food source for fish and is the perfect bait option for enticing large stressed carp and other species.

Properties of bloodworm pellets:

• High content of soluble attractants; ideal for use all year round
• Medium to dark red sinking pellets
• Average oil content, highly digestible protein content
• Deep, savory taste and rich, natural bloodworm aroma
• Rich in amino acids derived from marine proteins

Dissolving time (in cold water):

• 2 mm - 3 hour
• 6 mm - 6/7 hour
