Small baitfish or a larger presentation?
Turkish smelt is offered in 4–8 cm and sprat in 8–13 cm. Horse mackerel is available in several length ranges. Its description identifies a firm, tough texture, while herring and sprat have a softer texture. Choose by more than length: firmness matters when attaching and casting. Store frozen bait according to the packaging instructions.
Choose feed and additives separately
For carp, there are Readymade Boilies and tiger nut caramel groundbait. The groundbait includes tiger nut meal, wheat and soy flour; it is not a pack of whole tiger nuts. Prebaits salmon oil is an additive for baitfish. Its description lists injecting, spraying and soaking. Choose your base product first, then decide which addition you need.
