What is a method feeder?

Different types of method feeders

Pellet feeder (scoop cage): Open at the bottom, ideal for fishing in deeper water. Holds the bait until it reaches the bottom.
Without elastic (inline): The main line runs through the cage, which ensures direct hook setting. Disadvantage: the fish can use the weight as a counterweight.
With elastic: Provides cushioning during the fight, prevents lost fish. Easier to assemble, but the hook setting is slightly less powerful.
