Buy glass beads for Texas and Carolina Rig
Of
glass beads for the Texas and Carolina Rig give your montage extra sound and appeal. The bead is placed between the weight and the hook and taps against the bullet weight while fishing. This subtle clicking sound can make perch and zander curious, especially in cloudy water or when the predatory fish is difficult to entice.
In this collection you will find glass beads in different colors and sizes for putting together an effective Texas Rig or Carolina Rig.
Why use a glass bead?
A glass bead has several functions within your assembly. It provides extra sound when colliding with the weight, sometimes provides additional sparkle underwater and helps protect the knot from the sliding weight.
Glass generally produces a sharper sound than a soft plastic bead. Combine the bead with ours
bullet weights to put together a complete finesse montage yourself.
Glass beads for the Texas Rig
With the Texas Rig you first slide the bullet weight and then the glass bead onto the line. Then you tie one
offset hook on and mount the weedless softbait. This allows you to fish close to obstacles, plants and branches with less chance of getting stuck.
You can use, among other things, for this installation
creature baits, shads and other soft lures.
Glass beads for the Carolina Rig
With the Carolina Rig, the weight and bead are placed above a swivel. Behind the swivel is a leader with the hook and softbaits. This allows the bait to move freely behind the weight and can be presented slowly and naturally over the bottom.
This rig is particularly suitable for targeted fishing for bass and zander. By adjusting the distance between the weight and the softbait, you determine how freely and subtly the lure moves.
