With ESP rigs and hooklink materials, the position in your setup matters more than the word leader on the packet. A chod rig is the short hook section; a chod leader carries that rig, while a shock leader is used for casting.
The chod rig and leader are separate components
Cryogen Chod Rigs Barbless are premade rigs with barbless hooks and a bait screw for attaching a pop-up. They come in packs of three. The Lead Free Chod Rig Leader is instead a 1-metre leader with spliced ends. When completing a setup, check which of these two parts is missing. Test the balance with your chosen pop-up before casting.
Spooled material: tying rigs or making a shock leader?
Tungsten Loaded Hooklink is coated hooklink material, offered here on a 10-metre spool in 20 lb. The Shock Leader contains 25 metres of 35 lb Dyneema and is intended as a casting leader, including for spod use. Do not compare breaking strain alone: function, coating and connection to the rest of the setup differ.
