The Purist PX1 is the ultimate rod for deadbait fishing. These rods are available in two practical models in lengths of 10 and 12ft. Both rods have a superb deep bend that delivers precision and casting power, all accentuated by an excellent classic look finished with a cork handle.

At the heart of the Purist PX1 Deadbait rod is a full high-modulus carbon blank, developed to generate the power required to beat hard-fighting fish. At the same time, thanks to its progressive action, the rod cushions sudden runs and aggressive head shakes, absolutely minimising the risk of pulling the hook from the fish's mouth.

This construction, further strengthened by two-metre-strong Shimano Hardlite guides, provides excellent casting characteristics with a dead fish or conventional bottom bait. Both models feature a classic cork handle and a specially designed, ergonomic DPS-type reel seat. The two-piece construction also makes transporting and storing the rods extremely easy.
