Danny Fairbrass explains: “Like many other anglers, I enjoy fishing at distance. That is why we decided to produce the Long Chuck Funnel Web, the narrowest version of all PVA systems. By fishing at distance and using a PVA stick filled with a highly attractive mix of crushed boilies, I can guarantee that you will never cast out a tangled rig again.

In short, using a stick can only increase your chances of catching. You can now reach spots at very long range without tangling your hooklength.

Because the Long Chuck Funnel Web has a diameter of only 15mm, it feels as though it is not even there during the cast. This makes it suitable for virtually all conditions. On a soft bottom, the stick prevents the hookbait from sinking too deeply. The hookbait is also less likely to absorb odours from the soft bottom because it is surrounded by the attractive groundbait from the PVA stick.

On gravel, it keeps the hooklength straight and ready to hook a carp. In algae, it keeps the hook clear. You can also use it to cast your bait into a weedbed. Use a short braided hooklength and keep the line tight after the lead hits the water.

Combined with a heavy lead, the stick passes straight through the weed and eventually reaches the bottom, where the weed is much more open than at the surface. A carp can then pick up the bait much more easily because the hook remains free of debris.

The Long Chuck is also colour coded, making it very easy to select the correct refill pack.
