Gamakatsu Pro Commercial XS Method Eyed A1 PTFE Barbless is specially designed for large carp with self-hooking systems and hair rigs. Made from A1 Hard Wire and based on the original Gamakatsu Specialist RX, its eye angles inward by 10 degrees to create an aggressive angle between hook and line. The slowly inward-curving point remains aligned with the shank and takes hold directly in the lip. XS wire reinforced in the bends makes the hook extremely strong for heavy lines and high pressure on hooked fish. The PTFE coating improves penetration speed and keeps the point ultra-sharp.
