Bassterra A Sea Bass Spinning Rod

The Shimano Bassterra A Sea Bass Spinning Rod was developed for dedicated sea bass anglers who want to combine power, casting distance and precise lure control. The original Shimano Bassterra A Sea Bass Spinning is built around a high-quality Full Carbon blank with a Moderate Fast action, allowing both softbaits and hardbaits to be fished effectively.

The blank is reinforced with Shimano’s Diaflash technology. The powerful lower section helps produce long, accurate casts and provides sufficient backbone to control strong sea bass near rocks and other structures. At the same time, the responsive tip section delivers the feel and control needed to present lures attractively.

The fittings are also designed for intensive lure fishing. The rods feature Fuji SS K-Type O-ring guides, an Alconite tip guide, a specially designed VSS reel seat and a comfortable EVA split-grip handle. In addition to sea bass, these rods are excellent for other saltwater predators targeted with lures in shallower water.
