Fusion 19 Octopus Hooks

The new Berkley Octopus hooks from the Fusion 19 series are an extremely versatile hook type. The hook has a wide gape and an eye that points outward. This makes it perfect for use with artificial lures requiring a finesse technique, such as dropshotting or a wacky rig. The hook point itself is bent slightly inward, reducing the chance that a hooked fish will come loose. The small barb also helps with this.

Thanks to the SlickSet coating, the Octopus hook is protected against dirt and is also extra smooth, which promotes hooking. The hook is available in a neutral matt-black finish as well as red, pink, chartreuse and white, allowing you to match it to the colour of your shad for an even less conspicuous presentation. With small hookbaits, you can of course choose to take advantage of the striking colour instead.
