Rayfin Spinning 259MLXF2 Long-Range Finesse Rod

The St Croix Rayfin Spinning 259MLXF2 is a premium finesse rod for anglers who favour a more parabolic, softer action combined with extra length and control. This premium rod was developed specifically for the European market in collaboration with St Croix, VisTD and predator-fishing expert Mark Kuiper.

At 2.59m long, this Rayfin is perfect for street fishing at greater range, fishing light hardbaits or specifically targeting species such as trout and sea trout. The blank provides plenty of cushioning throughout its full length, which is ideal for fish with soft mouths and for using lures fitted with treble hooks.

The rod excels with finesse techniques and light-lure presentations where accuracy, feel and control are essential. Although the maximum casting weight is 18g, this rod performs at its best with lighter weights up to approximately 10g.
