Crankbaits

Crankbaits for pike, perch, zander and asp

Crankbaits are hard lures with a diving lip that create their own wobbling or rolling action during the retrieve. They are easy to fish and highly effective for pike, perch, zander, asp and trout.

Choose by depth, size and action

The diving lip determines how deep a crankbait runs. Shallow runners are useful over weed and in shallow water, while deep-diving crankbaits reach drop-offs and deeper holding areas. Smaller models suit perch and trout; larger models target pike and zander.

How to fish crankbaits

Retrieve steadily, add pauses or twitch the rod tip to trigger following fish. Floating crankbaits rise during a pause, suspending models hang in the water and sinking models help reach deeper spots faster.
