XT Snag Leader Nylon 100m

The Korda XT Snag Leader Nylon 100m is an extremely strong monofilament leader material for the toughest carp-fishing conditions. The original Korda XT Snag Leader was developed for situations where maximum abrasion resistance and reliability are essential, such as large European waters with numerous obstacles, branches and submerged timber.

The abbreviation XT stands for Extra Tough, and this character comes into its own when fishing in demanding conditions. Unlike braided leader material, nylon has some stretch, which cushions sudden shocks during the fight more effectively. Its relatively thick diameter can also slide over submerged timber rather than readily cutting into it, potentially reducing the risk of snagging.

The XT Snag Leader is also an excellent alternative on waters where braided leaders are not permitted. It is particularly suitable for situations where rigs are taken out by bait boat or conventional boat and extreme breaking strength matters more than maximum casting distance. Available in 50lb and 60lb, both supplied on a practical 100m spool.
