The Shimano Aerocast Specimen 12' 2.75lb carp rod is a revolutionary concept in rod construction. The oval blank design reduces the resistance of the blank during casting, allowing it to cut through the air better and cast the lead further. The XT200 plus Biofibre blank has a spigot joint, Fuji MN Alconite double-leg guide eyes and a Shimano low diameter reel holder. The split handle is lined with Japanese soft-feel non-slip rubber. A woven carbon rear handle with matching line clip perfectly matches the subtle black wrap and gunmetal-grey tops.
