The wax moth (Achroia grisella) is the larva of a nocturnal butterfly and is commonly used as fishing bait or feeder insects for reptiles and amphibians. This product contains only large wax moths measuring 1.5 to 2 cm, carefully selected from a standard mix where sizes vary.

Wax moths develop faster at higher temperatures and may pupate if not kept cool. Store them in a cool place to slow down this process. These wax moths are delivered without food, as additional feeding is not required.
