The Gamakatsu Pro Commercial XS Method Eyed A1 PTFE Barbless hook is specially designed for fishing big carp with self-hooking systems in combination with hair rigs. This hook, made from A1 Hard Wire, is based on the original Gamakatsu Specialist RX. The eye is positioned at a 10-degree angle inwards, creating an aggressive angle between hook and line. The slowly inward-pointing tip stays straight against the shank and engages the lip very directly. The XS wire, reinforced in the bends, makes the hook extremely strong, allowing use over heavy lines and allowing a lot of pressure on a hooked fish. The P.T.F.E coating improves penetration speed and keeps the point ultra-sharp.
